In the following announcement from the producer of Demon Slayer series (producer Yoshio Suzuki), it was announced that the third installment of the popular animated TV show is coming soon! No further details on release dates were revealed during the unveiling ceremony. The long-anticipated project has been in production since 2014, and the first two seasons premiered back in January 2018 and March 2019 respectively. To celebrate its success, the upcoming series has been renewed by Nintendo with seven additional episodes, giving fans another three years of exciting action-packed adventures in this fast-paced epic series. Furthermore, in September 2020, Paramount Pictures acquired an animation rights to develop the film based on their iconic characters' origin story in both of the DC Comics and Marvel comics universes. This marks Sony's first foray into direct animation in over 13 years after directing the previous instalment's second and third season. Due to many factors, including the pandemic of novel Coronavirus, it is highly unlikely that the show will be released at an exhibition centre in order to reduce potential contact between cast and crew and viewers. However, the team is currently putting all of their effort into bringing the most recent and most promising project to life. For now there are no plans for audiences to meet up during this event or even visit any exhibition centres. But we hope that some fans will still have the chance to watch the production! In addition to featuring several beloved villains such as Cain, Tanjiro, Yuki, Jiji and others, the upcoming shows will also introduce other fan favourites alongside these heroes. There are numerous other amazing faces set to appear as well, which include the likes of Chidori Hachigo, Tomoyuki Momomi, Masaki Miyase and more. It also follows the original story written in 2013 by Makoto Shinkai who wrote the script and is known as one of the greatest writers behind the evergreen hit TV show "Attack on Titan".
The upcoming periodical television network series will feature more than 10 different productions of variety episodes aired across multiple platforms that includes TV, music and digital media. An exclusive platform for worldwide distribution are Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, iFlix, iTunes, PlayStation Online, Roku and Stadia.
